I have my subtitles set to show for my normal movies on my HDD, but the vobsub subtitles can't be played by Plex, so a lot of the channels fail to load, unless I go to settings and turn the subtitles off. Most of the channels there are still SD and a lot of channels have vobsub subtitles. For example, we have shared antenna in my apartment building. I wish the TV would be more customizable.
